00Cr19MoSPb is an ultra-low carbon molybdenum-sulfur-lead free-machining ferritic stainless steel bright bar with carbon content ≤0.03%. High chromium combined with molybdenum enhances pitting resistance and chloride corrosion resistance. Sulfur and lead work together to greatly improve machinability, and it features ferritic soft magnetic properties, widely used for precision machining of solenoid valve iron cores. It has balanced comprehensive mechanical properties, moderate tensile and yield strength, strong load-bearing capacity and excellent plasticity. It can deform appropriately under force to avoid brittle fracture. Its hardness can be flexibly adjusted after annealing heat treatment to meet both wear resistance and long-term anti-corrosion requirements. It boasts outstanding cutting performance: lead melts under cutting temperature for lubrication while sulfur optimizes chip breaking, resulting in minimal tool wear during turning, milling, drilling and automatic lathe processing, and stably produces workpieces with ultra-smooth surface finish and precise dimensional accuracy. It has good thermoplasticity for hot working, enabling smooth hot rolling and forging to fabricate various blanks and precision valve components. Only slight work hardening occurs in cold working, ensuring stable cold heading and bending while improving surface finish and overall mechanical performance. Its ultra-low carbon formula restrains intergranular corrosion after welding, and molybdenum improves salt spray and mild acid & alkali corrosion resistance. It serves as special core raw material for precision solenoid valves, fluid control valves and chemical corrosion-resistant precision shafts, greatly boosting automatic processing efficiency and component service life.
