316H is high-carbon molybdenum-bearing austenitic heat-resistant stainless steel bright bar, high-temperature enhanced variant based on 316. Carbon is controlled 0.04%~0.10%, higher than 316, 316L and 316Ti, Cr 16.0~18.0%, Ni 10.0~14.0%, Mo 2.0~3.0%, single-phase austenite and nearly non-magnetic after solution annealing.
High carbon delivers dual strengthening via solid-solution hardening and dispersed high-temperature carbide precipitation, greatly improving stress rupture strength and creep resistance at 500~700℃. Its allowable stress under high temperature is far superior to 316/316L, resisting creep deformation and fracture under long-term high-temperature pressure, specially designed for high-temperature pressure vessels in boilers, thermal power and petrochemical industries.
