316Ti is titanium-stabilized molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel bright bar. Titanium is added based on grade 316, single-phase austenite and nearly non-magnetic after solution annealingATI.
Titanium has higher affinity with carbon than chromium, forming stable TiC at high temperature or welding temperature range, which completely inhibits chromium carbide precipitation at grain boundaries. No chromium-depletion intergranular corrosion occurs even with long-term exposure to 425~850℃ sensitization temperature zone, solving the sensitization defect of 316 and 316L under prolonged high-temperature service. Molybdenum delivers outstanding pitting & crevice corrosion resistance against salt spray, seawater, mild acid & alkali and chloride chemical media.
