N08020 bright bar is a super austenitic corrosion-resistant nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum-copper alloy. Designed with multi-element alloy formula of nickel, chromium, molybdenum, copper and niobium, it delivers outstanding comprehensive mechanical properties with balanced tensile and yield strength as well as excellent plasticity. It deforms uniformly under force to prevent brittle fracture. Its strength and corrosion resistance can be adjusted via solution heat treatment. It features stable cutting performance and low tool wear, enabling high-precision, high-finish workpieces through turning, milling and drilling. It owns superior thermoplasticity for smooth hot forging and hot rolling to manufacture various special-shaped blanks and finished products. Though cold working causes work hardening, it can still realize dimensional shaping and improve overall material performance. Niobium stabilization eliminates intergranular corrosion risk after welding without post-weld heat treatment. Its high-nickel matrix effectively resists chloride stress corrosion cracking, maintaining long-term stability in sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid and mixed chloride-containing strong acid environments.
