N10276 bright bar is an ultra-low-carbon austenitic nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy composed of nickel, chromium, molybdenum and tungsten, widely recognized as the universal anti-corrosion alloy. With coordinated formula of high chromium, high molybdenum and tungsten, it delivers outstanding corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments, balanced mechanical properties, sufficient tensile & yield strength and excellent ductility & toughness to achieve uniform deformation under load and avoid brittle fracture. Uniform and stable microstructure can be obtained via solution annealing with adjustable hardness to meet manufacturing demands of precision anti-corrosion components. It features stable machinability for special cutting tools, realizing high-precision, high-finish workpieces through turning, milling and drilling. It owns wide hot working temperature window and superior thermoplasticity for smooth forging and hot rolling to produce various special-shaped blanks and finished products. Cold working brings obvious work hardening, and intermediate annealing can be adopted for large deformation to optimize material toughness. The ultra-low-carbon formula restricts carbide precipitation during welding, so the alloy resists intergranular corrosion without post-weld heat treatment. High molybdenum & tungsten matrix provides extraordinary resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking. It is one of the few metallic materials capable of resisting wet chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide, maintaining long-term stability in hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, chloride-containing mixed strong acids, chloride salts, sulfur-containing flue gas, seawater, sour oil & gas and other extreme corrosive media. As core load-bearing anti-corrosion material for chemical, flue gas desulfurization, marine, paper-making and pharmaceutical industries, it ensures long-term safe operation of equipment under severe corrosion conditions.
