Ultra-low carbon plus niobium eliminates intergranular corrosion after welding and long-term heating at 425~850℃. Copper precipitates enhance tensile strength and resistance to mild acid & dilute brine, overall corrosion performance superior to all standard martensitic grades (410/420/431), slightly inferior to 316L. Excellent low-temperature impact toughness without embrittlement at -40℃.

Solution annealing at 1020~1050℃ rapid water quench softens material to HB ≤302 for easy CNC turning & forging. Strength boosted by low-temperature aging after forming, no severe grain coarsening. Hot forming window 900~1030℃, supports simple bending & stamping, poor deep drawing & cold heading performance.
