S32750

S32750 is high Cr-Mo-N super duplex stainless steel bright bar with balanced ferrite-austenite dual phase (40~60% each).
Triple passivation system of high Cr-Mo-N delivers superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking, far exceeding S32205(2205), 316L and 904L. Nitrogen solid-solution hardening raises yield strength ≥550MPa, more than double of 316L, combining ferrite’s outstanding SCC resistance and austenite’s high toughness. Ultra-low carbon eliminates chromium depletion sensitization after welding, no post-weld annealing required for thin-wall parts.
Standard solution treatment: Rapid water quenching at 1020~1100℃ to stabilize balanced dual-phase ratio. It cannot be hardened by quenching; cold working induces work hardening, while re-solution annealing restores balanced duplex microstructure and high toughness.
Moderate thermoplasticity for forging & hot rolling within 920~1080℃ forming window, tight temperature control to avoid unbalanced single-phase structure. Supports cold forming including bending, cold heading and stamping, stable for mass CNC machining; higher hardness causes higher tool wear than standard duplex steel.
Core positioning: High-pressure components under severe corrosive environments such as high-concentration seawater, hot brine, pulp bleaching, FGD flue gas desulfurization, H₂S & chloride oil & gas media and hydrometallurgy. Its corrosion resistance sits between 2205 and S31254 super austenitic steel, with much lower cost than nickel alloys and titanium, premium anti-corrosion pressure material for marine, environmental and chemical industries.
